One of the most common questions that we get asked by people is how much will a website cost? This question cannot be answered until the designer has a good understanding of the customer’s requirements. If you do a search for web designer in Ireland you will find quite a few sponsored listings with website design from €99 to €299. We can create websites from as little as €350 and the most expensive website retails close to €2,000. Still a lot cheaper than  what other designers in Ireland are charging.

Most people who call me have no idea about how a site is designed. I have no idea how their business works either but I can help them deliver a website solution that will help their business. When we get a call from a potential client looking for a website designed we usually first ask them for is an idea of other sites they are trying to emulate for their own business. This helps save time for us to get a general idea of what the clients expectations are. The price for a website really depends on how large the site is, the number of pages, the content and complexity of the design, no matter what we try to tailer our designs to meet all our clients budget.

The following will give you a clear indication of the designing process.

The Designing Stage:

  1. Meet with client and briefly go over the type of design and layout for a new website
  2. Send over a quote/client agrees on a price for the project, receive deposit
  3. Review website content, and sketch out a  layout with the content given for each page.
  4. Design an inital mockup which gives us the general ‘look’ of the site.
  5. Some of our clients will require more than 2 designs to choose from.
  6. Send send client first mockup and wait for their approval.
  7. If client is happy with the design the designer will follow the same layout for all other pages.
  8. Add finishing touches send over to client for further approval before HTML conversion

 

The Coding Stage:

Designer has to slice up the final design in photoshop before converting it to HTML.

Add targeted list of  keywords within the content of each page on the website

Upload the website to a temporary server so client gets a complete preview of what the website will look like before publishing live under their own domain.

The website will be tested and viewed in different browers

All text to be fully spelled checked including no grammer errors.

 

Setup and Maintenance Stage:

  1. Preparing the agreed design for the CMS integration.
  2. Website files to be uploaded to clients server.
  3. Send instructions how to use CMS/set up a meeting and explain how it works.

There is more work that goes into a website than people think which include a whole bunch of tasks which include javascript integration, flash, multimedia, SEO, etc.

Blog commenting can play an important role in improving page rank to your website. I use blog commenting, forum posting and article submission methods to increase page rank.

Today I am going to tell you about a very cool little technique for all you blog owners out there and also if your in affiliate marketing as well. This technique will take no longer than 20 minutes out of your day. And will help your search engine rankings to your website quite dramatically as well and will get you ranking for the keywords that you want to use. It’s a technique that I use whenever I have time and a technique that I use on many many new niche websites as well. It is really dead simple to implement into your marketing strategy.

The Technique itself is called Do Follow blog commenting and the way it works is the more websites you can get pointing back to your blog the higher up you’ll be in the search engines. Now it’s rather important to do this, obviously to out rank our competitors we need to have more backlinks, we need to have more link juice and the way we do this is to have a look for DoFollow blogs. I have found a little tool I think is really really cool. It’s called “Do Follow Diver” and it’s by the inline SEO team. The URL is http://www.inlineseo.com/dofollowdiver/. Once your on the site all you got to do is put in one of your main keywords or perhaps just the niche into the search box below:

 

You will then get a list of 700+ do follow blogs results that allow commenting so what you want to do is go through each of the blogs and have a good look over the post and stroll right to the bottom of the page where it allows you to leave a comment. All you do is put in your name, your email address or one that you don’t actually use that often and then you want to put in your website url along with a comment. Make sure to leave comment related to the topic and that is going to contribute to the whole conversation. So spend a bit of time doing this every day and remember its always advisable to participate in relevant  blogs that are related to your website subject. So all you pretty much need to do is type in your keyword or niche and search and go through each of the results and follow the same process. This will not only help in getting backlinks but also traffic to your site.

We have added a couple of new  features in it. The Logo looks the same as it did on the original website.  The new website wears a fresh new look and feel to it. We have incorporated high flash elements and made use of  some complex CSS. The site is now more user friendly and promises a richer new experience.
